Jim was born on 24 Jan 1954. He was raised in the mountains of Alabama. His family consisted of five sisters and one brother. Along with his Mother and Father.
Today only Jim and two of his sisters remain of the children. His father crossed over in 1975.
The two people who influenced Jim the most in music were his father and brother.
Jim, Sr. was very gifted musician and songwriter. He was formally educated in a number of schools in his life and performed Southern Gospel music with several Quartets.
Jims brother Terry was a very gifted singer and Trumpet Player and would likely have been involved with Jims music today had he not been killed in an auto accident in 1969.
